The web has change so much over the past 10 years or so. Sites that were in their heyday in the early 90’s are now defunct, some sites that dominate global markets weren’t even around ten years ago. However, the leaders in search have stayed pretty much the same. Yahoo, Google, MSN, ASK & AOL have been around a while (in web years).
Design elements that were used in the early 90’s are now deprecated, being replaced with modern design practices and rich multimedia. We have all come a long way.
