How I Know You’re A Twitter Spammer

Although I have a Twitter account, I would not consider myself a very active or engaged user. I use TwitterFeed to automatically feed my blog posts to the service, and use it to see what’s going on – my adoption has been cut short a little because it seems like there’s a ton of spam on the service.

If you start following me on Twitter and I see that you have 17,398 followers and you’re following 18,354 – to me you come across as a spammer and you’re not going to get followed unless you have stuff that I care about.
