There are times when you want a little more features and options than the economy hosting plan that GoDaddy offers. Their basic plan is ideal for many businesses or people that have one site that they’re wanting to host. However, if you have several sites that you are wanting to set up, a more robust choice would be their Deluxe Hosting Plan that allows you to host unlimited domain names on just one hosting account. This is perfect for those of us who have many different domain names that we are using or running, as you can host as many as you want. This is currently the plan that I am on with them and use it for many of my personal sites like this blog and some family ones that we have.
For the price, it’s amazingly robust
If you pay for a year of hosting, currently it works out to only $6.64 per month to have your site up and running. With their deluxe hosting, GoDaddy gives you a ton of features that will allow you to set up pretty much anything that you’re wanting for a website. In addition, it’s extremely easy to set things up through their control panel, and you can upgrade or downgrade your account at any time if it turns out that this is not the plan for you.
GoDaddy’s customer service is unparalleled
As I have mentioned in my other posts, I have always been extremely impressed with the quality of their customer service department. You can reach them 24 hours a day, and everyone that I have ever spoken with there has been extremely knowledgeable. If the person you reach isn’t able to help you out, my experience has shown that they will get someone to work with you to solve any problems, setup, or questions that you might have.
Great if you want to host several websites
If you’re hosting more than one website, this plan is the next step up from their basic hosting account. With the ability to host unlimited domains, the under $7 price tag is really a bargain. Also, if you’re like me and run most of your sites with WordPress or applications that require setting up MySQL databases you will be glad to know that you can have 25 of them installed and running on this plan.
Works with a lot of apps & programs
If you’re wanting to install programs like wikis, Joomla!, WordPress, phpBB, or anything along those lines, they support dozens of the most popular programs out there. It seems like GoDaddy is always adding more all of the time, and getting them set up is very simple through their Hosting Connection area.
Go check out their Deluxe Hosting Plan
GoDaddy is a company that I really admire for going out and doing their own thing. If you’ve ever read CEO/President Bob Parsons’ blog, you can see that they operate quite a bit differently than most of the other hosting companies in business and they’ve really changed the game and lowered prices for all of us who work on the internet.
If you’re looking for an excellent way to host your site or blog, I would highly recommend going on over to their site and check out their deluxe hosting plan, if it’s too robust you can always look into their economy plan, or if you need even more (I actually may be upgrading soon) check out their unlimited hosting plan that is relatively new and really gives you just about everything you could want to host tons of sites.

Godaddy’s customer service really is a great. They called me up earlier this week, no pressure just checking to see if they could help out with anything ( I have about 20 domains registered with them, so I’m by no means a huge client), but they’ve also always been helpful when I called. I went with MediaTemple for a little more robust hosting of my WPMU platform, but would highly recommend Godaddy for hosting and domains.
high quality hosting company does not experience any interruption
