Your logo is your image to the rest of the world. As such, when designing or choosing a logo you may feel compelled to fit as much as possible into your design so that people can understand what the logo means or stands for. However, many times the most powerful and memorable logos are those that have been designed with a focus on simplicity.
A minimalistic approach to your logo will offer you many benefits when using your logo in various mediums (print, web, apparel, etc.), and offers and easy way brand yourself at times when your design space might be limited.
When creating this post, I found myself coming across car and auto company logos quite often – maybe there is something to be learned from their approach to minimal design.
Presented below are some remarkably simple (yet powerful) logos for your inspiration and enjoyment.
Note: I have excluded typographic designs in order to show how simple icons or renderings can be extremely brand-able and memorable.

I agree to all the logos except to the Chevrolet logo, that must have involved quite a bit of work with all the reflections and such.
